Victor Watton
Victor is the author of many best-selling RS text books including Religion and Life, Religion and Society, Catholic Christianity, Islam, Mark’s Gospel for Edexcel, Citizenship through Mapping. He has been involved in examining General Studies, Social Studies, Philosophy and Citizenship, and was GCSE Chief Examiner for Religious Studies from 1996 to 2008. Victor was a classroom teacher for 35 years and used his experience of one lesson a week RE to devise the most popular GCSE Religious Studies course in the country. More recently, Victor wrote the new GCSE specifications, assessment materials and launch materials for Edexcel.
Bob Stone
Bob is the co-author with Victor for many of the above books. He has been Principal Examiner for Sikhism, Religion and Society and is currently Principal Moderator for all GCSE RS coursework. Bob has been Head of Department for Religious Education and ICT. He was also the School Commercial Manager and the NASUWT representative on the LEA SACRE. He is a Fellow of the CIEA.
